Commit to Knit 2019 events

If you are taking part in Commit to Knit month and planning to knit or crochet something for charity during September, here are some events organised by retailers that might be of interest to you.

Shed Load of Crafts, Enfield, Every Wednesday and Thursday in September

Join Yvonne and Sandra to make hats for the homeless


Yarn Etc, Harrogate, 7pm, 5th September

Local knitters and crocheters will be making poppies for Mission for Macey.

 

SewArty Kenilworth Wool & Sewing Crafts, 2pm, 5th September

SewArty will be welcoming complete beginner knitters to make blanket squares and hats for the Helping Hands Community Project every Thursday afternoon in September.

 

The Fabric Den, Bolsover, 10am, 7th September

Join the knit and natter event to create knitted items for the local hospital

 

Craft Days, Saffron Walden, 10am, 13th September        

Free patterns and some yarn available to get people started on a project for a charity of their choice along with refreshments and there may well be cake.

 

Wool Zone, Oakham, 11am, 15 September

Making hats for homeless and blanket squares for newbies.

 

Beaker Button, Fairground Craft and Design Centre, Weyhill, Hampshire, 10am, 22 September

Knitting and crocheting hats for Knit for Peace and eating cake. There will be 10% off purchases in the shop, if you bring a knitted hat.
